Its exceptional machining properties make it ideal for laser engraving: engraved areas develop a frosted, high-contrast finish that makes text and designs stand out beautifully. Acrylic is also easy to cut, drill, and shape, giving you flexibility for custom sizes and designs.

What is Plastic Lamacoid?

Lamacoid nameplates are made from durable, laser-engravable plastic sourced from Rowmark, a trusted industry manufacturer. The engraving process cuts through a top color layer to reveal a contrasting base color underneath, creating crisp, permanent text and graphics that won't fade, peel, or rub off over time.

Available in a wide range of color combinations and finishes — including matte, brushed metal-look, and textured options — so you can match your branding or meet color-coding needs. Select colors are also available in different thicknesses. Every piece is custom cut so there is little limitation to size and shape. Available with or without 3M adhesive backing for easy, tool-free mounting.
