Plastic/Lamacoid

What is Plastic Lamacoid?

Lamacoid nameplates are made from durable, laser-engravable plastic sourced from Rowmark, a trusted industry manufacturer. The engraving process cuts through a top color layer to reveal a contrasting base color underneath, creating crisp, permanent text and graphics that won't fade, peel, or rub off over time.

Available in a wide range of color combinations and finishes — including matte, brushed metal-look, and textured options — so you can match your branding or meet color-coding needs. Select colors are also available in different thicknesses. Every piece is custom cut so there is little limitation to size and shape. Available with or without 3M adhesive backing for easy, tool-free mounting.

Plastic Lamacoid is most commonly used for:

  • Equipment & Machinery ID Tags
  • Interior & Exterior Signage
  • Industrial Tags & Labels
  • Personal Identification (desk/door signs)
  • Safety Signage
  • Awards & Recognition Plaques

Stainless Steel

What is Laser-Etched Stainless Steel?

Our stainless steel tags and nameplates are marked using Cermark, a process that fuses a durable, high-contrast image directly into the metal's surface. Because the mark becomes part of the metal itself rather than sitting on top, it won't fade, peel, or wear away over time — even with heavy handling or exposure to the elements.

Stainless steel is naturally resistant to rust, corrosion, and extreme temperatures, making it a strong choice for equipment and assets that need to perform in tough conditions — indoors or out, including marine and chemical environments. Plates can be custom ordered in different gauges, with your choice of hole count and rounded or square corners.

Stainless Steel is most commonly used for:

  • Equipment & Machinery ID Tags
  • Asset & Property Tags
  • Valve & Pipe Tags
  • Safety & Instructional Labels
  • Outdoor & Marine Equipment Tags

Aluminum

What is DuraBlack®?

DuraBlack® is a laser-markable aluminum built for durable, long-lasting marking in tough environments. It resists sunlight (UV), abrasion, high heat, and chemical exposure — and meets several government, industrial, and military marking specifications.

It's available in two thicknesses, so it can be mounted to either flat or curved surfaces using adhesive, rivets, or screws.

DuraBlack is most commonly used for:

  • Industrial Nameplates
  • Barcode/QR Code Labels
  • Asset/Property Tags
  • Outdoor Signs
  • Trailer/Equipment Plates

Available in 0.005" or 0.020" thicknesses.

What is Anodized Aluminum?

Anodized aluminum nameplates are made through a process that forms a hard, protective colored layer directly into the metal's surface. To create your design, we use a laser to mark directly into that coating, creating a permanent, high-contrast image that won't rub off or peel, since it's not printed or applied on top of the surface.

Anodized aluminum is naturally resistant to corrosion and wear, making it a solid choice for equipment and assets used indoors or out. It's also available in a range of colours and finishes, giving you flexibility for color-coded labeling or brand-matched signage.

Anodized Aluminum is most commonly used for:

  • Equipment & Machinery Identification
  • Asset & Property Tags
  • Control Panel Labels
  • Barcode & QR Code Plates
  • Outdoor Equipment & Vehicle Tags
  • Safety & Inspection Labels

What is AlumaMark®?

AlumaMark® is a specialty aluminum that produces photo-quality images directly on real metal — no etching, engraving, or chemicals involved. The image is created by heat, giving you sharp detail and even subtle shading that other marking methods can't match.

It's available in a range of finishes — from brushed silver tones to warm gold, brass, and bronze — so you can match the look to your project.

AlumaMark is most commonly used for:

  • Corporate Awards & Recognition Plaques
  • Photo & Diploma Reproductions
  • Metal Name Badges
  • Property Tags
  • Donor & Founder Plaques
  • Wayfinding & Directional Signage

Best suited for indoor use; ask us about protective options if your project needs outdoor durability.

Vinyl

What are Our Vinyl Decals?

Our vinyl decals are printed in-house on industrial-grade equipment. We offer a few grades of vinyl depending on your application's demands:

  • Standard Vinyl — rated for 5+ years outdoors (even longer indoors), resistant to smears, chemicals, UV, and water
  • High Performance Vinyl — rated for 10+ years, built to handle extreme temperatures (-60° to 230°F), curved surfaces, rivets, and corrugated areas, and removes cleanly with zero residue
  • Pre-Printed Notice Header Stock — OSHA-compliant labels with a built-in "Notice" header, ideal for quickly creating custom hazard notices that meet ANSI, NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, NEC, and OSHA standards

All options are resistant to smears, chemicals, UV, and water, and suited for both indoor and outdoor use.

Vinyl Decals are most commonly used for:

  • Safety & Warning Signage
  • Pipe Labeling
  • Equipment & Machinery Labels
  • Facility & Warehouse Signage
  • Asset Tracking Labels

Acrylic

What is Cast Acrylic?

Cast acrylic is a premium, optically clear plastic known for its glass-like clarity, strength, and versatility. It's naturally UV-resistant and weather-stable, holding its clarity and appearance over time without yellowing — a strong choice for both indoor and outdoor signage.

Its exceptional machining properties make it ideal for laser engraving: engraved areas develop a frosted, high-contrast finish that makes text and designs stand out beautifully. Acrylic is also easy to cut, drill, and shape, giving you flexibility for custom sizes and designs.

Cast Acrylic is most commonly used for:

  • Lobby & Reception Signage
  • Room & Directional Signs
  • Awards & Recognition Plaques
  • Architectural & Wayfinding Signage
  • Retail & Office Displays

Available in a range of colors and thicknesses to suit both decorative and functional applications.
